Hello, I’m Danette, though most people call me Dani.

I hold a Level 1 CrossFit Coach certification and am diligently pursuing additional qualifications.

My sporting background spans nine years of professional competition in Tug of War, at both the national and international levels. This journey led me to participate in African games in Zambia and Zimbabwe, as well as two World Championships. This sport demanded not only fitness but also teamwork and unwavering dedication.

While initially attending CrossFit classes for personal fitness, I found my calling when I began working at CrossFit Plett / Plett Sports Clinic. It was here that I fell in love with fitness and keeping strong and healthy and realized that this was where I truly belonged.

My fundamental belief revolves around helping individuals achieve their utmost potential through hard work and unwavering commitment to reaching their goals. I am deeply passionate about my work and have a special affinity for working with youth. I see fitness as a way of life, especially in the face of the daily pressures we all encounter. It serves as a powerful motivator and keeps bodies in shape for people of all ages, including the older generation.

Beyond coaching, I am also a certified personal trainer and massage therapist, specializing in both relaxation and sports injuries.

I have been a part of the Plett Sports Clinic community for seven rewarding years and eagerly anticipate the exciting future ahead.
